St. Kizito
“The youngest of the Uganda Martyrs, killed at approximately 13-14 years old for refusing to renounce Christianity.”
Feast Day: June 3
Biography
St. Kizito was the youngest of the Uganda Martyrs, a group of Catholic and Anglican converts killed on the orders of King Mwanga II of Buganda. Despite his young age, he refused to renounce his Christian faith. He was baptized by St. Charles Lwanga the night before their execution and was burned alive alongside his companions.
Prayer to St. Kizito
