Biography

St. Methodius was a 9th-century missionary known for bringing Christianity to the Slavic nations, particularly Great Moravia. Alongside his brother Cyril, he developed the Glagolitic alphabet, the first script used for writing Old Church Slavonic. Their work laid the foundation for Slavic culture and literacy.
