Biography
Born into a noble family in Lombardy, Italy, St. Aloysius Gonzaga chose a life of poverty and service from a young age. He joined the Jesuits and dedicated his life to the spiritual and physical well-being of others, particularly during the plague outbreak in Rome. His selfless acts ultimately led to his early death at the age of 23, inspiring generations to follow his example of holiness and dedication.
