Biography
St. Alexis, originally from a wealthy family, chose a life of poverty and anonymity after his marriage. He lived as a beggar, dedicating his life to serving the poor and living out the teachings of Christ. His extraordinary humility and commitment to the needy have made him a beloved saint in the Catholic Church.
