Biography
St. Agnes of Bohemia, a member of the royal family, chose a life of poverty and service to God over worldly power. After founding a convent in Prague, she became its first abbess and dedicated her life to charitable works. Her unwavering faith and commitment to the religious life inspired many during her time and continue to do so today.
