Biography

St. Toribio Romo González was a young Mexican priest who was martyred during the Cristero War at age 28. In recent decades, countless Mexican and Central American migrants have reported seeing a mysterious young man who helped them cross the desert safely — they later identified him from pictures as St. Toribio.
