Biography
St. Peter To Rot was a catechist from the Tolai people of Papua New Guinea. During the Japanese occupation in World War II, he continued to lead his community in prayer and defended the sanctity of Christian marriage against the occupiers' attempts to impose polygamy. He was arrested and killed by lethal injection.
