Biography

St. Stanislaus was a prominent bishop of Krakow who fiercely defended the rights of the Church against the corrupt practices of the Polish king Bolesław II. His unwavering conviction and moral courage ultimately led to his martyrdom around the year 1079. Today, he is remembered not only as a protector of the faith but also as a symbol of justice and integrity in Poland.
