Biography
St. María Guadalupe García Zavala co-founded the Handmaids of St. Margaret Mary to serve the sick and poor. During the Cristero War, she risked her life by hiding persecuted priests and even the Archbishop of Guadalajara in her hospital. She was canonized by Pope Francis in 2013.
