Biography

St. Alberto Hurtado was a Chilean Jesuit who dedicated his life to the poorest of the poor. He founded Hogar de Cristo, a network providing shelter, education, and care for homeless children across Chile. He also advocated for labor rights and wrote extensively on Catholic social teaching.
