Biography

St. Isaac Jogues was a French Jesuit missionary whose unwavering dedication brought him to the New World in service of the Gospel. Captured by the Iroquois, he endured severe torture and hardships, ultimately returning to his mission in New York. He was martyred in 1646, and his sacrifices paved the way for future missionaries in North America.
