St. Arsenius

Feast: July 19

Being an influential monk and spiritual teacher in the early Christian church.

St. Basil the Great

Feast: January 2

A renowned theologian and one of the Cappadocian Fathers who played a crucial role in the development of monasticism and the defense of Trinitarian doctrine.

St. Benedict

Feast: July 11

Founder of the Benedictine Order and author of the Rule of St. Benedict.

St. Enda

Feast: March 21

Founder of the monastic school of Aran Islands in Ireland.

St. Maurus

Feast: January 15

Maurus was a Benedictine monk and is known for being the first disciple of St. Benedict.

St. Odilo of Cluny

Feast: July 2

He is renowned for his role in the development of the monastic reform movement and the expansion of the Cluniac order.

St. Robert of Newminster

Feast: June 7

He is known for his role in the founding of the Cistercian order in the 12th century.

St. Severinus

Feast: January 8

Known for his ascetic life and miraculous deeds as a monk and missionary in the region that is now Austria.

St. Theodore of Sykeon

Feast: April 22

He is known for his ascetic life and numerous miraculous healings.

St. Wasnildus

Feast: September 7

St. Wasnildus is recognized for his pious life and dedication to monasticism.
