Biography

St. Narcisa de Jesús Martillo Morán was an Ecuadorian laywoman who lived a life of extraordinary penance and prayer. Though she never joined a religious order, she lived as a consecrated laywoman, spending her days in prayer, fasting, and works of charity. She died in Lima, Peru, at the age of 36.
