Biography

St. Marguerite Bays was a Swiss seamstress who lived a hidden life of extraordinary holiness. She was miraculously healed of intestinal cancer and received the stigmata, experiencing the wounds of Christ every Friday. Despite these mystical gifts, she continued her humble life of sewing, teaching catechism, and caring for the sick.
