Biography
St. Marcellus I was elected Pope in 308 AD and worked tirelessly to maintain the unity of the Church amid growing threats. He faced significant challenges from both outside and within the Christian community due to the ongoing persecutions under Emperor Maxentius. His commitment to the faith and the welfare of the Christian community has left a lasting legacy in the Church.
