Biography
St. Bede the Venerable was a Benedictine monk at the Monastery of Wearmouth-Jarrow in England, where he spent most of his life dedicated to learning and teaching. His most notable work, 'Ecclesiastical History of the English People,' has earned him the title of the father of English history. Known for his deep spirituality, Bede combined his scholarly endeavors with a profound faith that inspired many during and after his lifetime.
