Biography

St. John the Apostle, one of Jesus' closest companions, played a pivotal role in the early Christian community. He is traditionally believed to have authored several biblical texts that emphasize love and the divine nature of Jesus. After surviving persecution and exile, he is thought to have died peacefully in Ephesus around 100 AD.
