Biography

St. Paul of the Cross was born in Italy and spent much of his life preaching and spreading devotion to the Passion of Jesus. He founded the Congregation of the Passion (the Passionists) to foster a deeper understanding of Christ's suffering. His profound spirituality and emphasis on contemplative prayer have inspired countless followers to deepen their faith.
