Biography

St. Barnabas, originally named Joseph, was a Levite from Cyprus who sold his property to support the early Christian community. He became an influential figure in spreading the Gospel, particularly among the Gentiles, and was instrumental in introducing Paul to the apostles in Jerusalem. His unwavering faith and commitment to the Church earned him the title of Apostle, and he is remembered as a pioneering missionary of the Christian faith.
