Biography

Seraphim lived as a hermit in the forest for 25 years. He spent a thousand nights standing on a rock in prayer. Later, he opened his door to pilgrims, greeting everyone with the words 'My joy, Christ is risen!' He emphasized the 'acquisition of the Holy Spirit' as the goal of the Christian life.
