Biography
St. Vladimir, known as the Great, was a noble ruler of Kievan Rus who strategically embraced Christianity in 988, leading to the Christianization of his people. Today, he is celebrated not only as a saint but also as an important historical figure in the development of Eastern Slavic civilization.
