Biography

St. María de Jesús Sacramentado Venegas de la Torre was a Mexican religious sister who founded the Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She dedicated over 50 years to caring for the sick, poor, and abandoned in Guadalajara. She persevered through the Mexican Revolution and Cristero War.
