Biography
St. Laura Montoya Upegui was a Colombian religious sister who founded the Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate and St. Catherine of Siena. She dedicated her life to evangelizing and educating indigenous communities in the Colombian jungle, traveling by canoe and mule to reach remote villages.
